About Donnia & the Why Behind Mirror Mirror
I’ve spent my life helping women see their own power—not just in glimpses, but fully, boldly, and without apology. Mirror Mirror was born from that mission: to transform the way we see ourselves, to break free from the weight of self-doubt, and to stand in the truth of our worth.
This movement is deeply personal. Like so many, I’ve known what it feels like to question my reflection, to battle the stories we’re told about who we should be. But I also know the liberation that comes when we reclaim our narrative. When we look in the mirror and see strength, beauty, and possibility staring back.
This launch is more than a fashion show—it’s a declaration. A moment where women and girls of all ages walk the runway as their fullest, fiercest selves. Because when we change the way we see ourselves, we change everything.
And that? That is a movement worth wearing.

What is Mirror Mirror?
"Mirror, Mirror" wasn't always a call to self-love. For generations, women have looked in mirrors with hesitation, sometimes even with criticism, as if each glance required permission to see their beauty, worth, or strength. Imagine if, from a young age, every girl was taught to look at her reflection with unwavering love and trust. Imagine a world where women truly knew their worth and stood in their power—without doubt, apology, or hesitation.
In this world, mirrors would tell the stories of women who were celebrated for who they were, not what they were expected to be. Young girls would grow up seeing women love themselves deeply, seeing that confidence as natural as breathing. They’d learn that their reflections were not just skin-deep but mirrors into their inner resilience, brilliance, and beauty.

The Story behind the t-shirt
Honestly, I cannot for the life of me recall why this idea came to me. All I know is that about 20yrs ago, I got a nudge to do this. I was super excited, like I am today, and had one printed ... just to see how it would turn out. It came back from the printer and I was ecstatic - super excited to share it.
And then came along self doubt and crippling fear of how much it might cost to actually make this a real thing. My mind wandered around, "who do you think you are" and "this is stupid" and "I don't have time for this" and "no one will want it".
And I believed those stories.
For over 20 years I have pulled the original shirt out of the dresser, snapped it open and put it on, all the while, that nudge was still there. Share this! Do something with this! THIS IS HUGE! And because I was still asleep back then, it went into the laundry hamper and then back into my dresser for another long spell of hibernation.
Until now.
This has been on my heart for almost my entire adult life - and I am not wasting anymore time. I have curated a special line of phrases that women (and men) need to hear right now.
